Lately, I’ve been noticing something kinda sad on YouTube…
The platform is slowly getting flooded with AI-generated content — faceless videos, robotic narrations, same old recycled topics popping up every day. It’s like the algorithm is being gamed, and genuine, human-created content is getting buried under a mountain of mass-produced fluff.
And on top of that? So many ads. Everywhere. It feels less like a creative space and more like an ad-farm for low-effort videos.
I’m not against AI — it’s a powerful tool when used right. But when it starts replacing authenticity, passion, and real human effort, we lose what made YouTube special in the first place.
Creators who actually care about their work are being sidelined, and that’s a big problem.
YouTube really needs to take a step back and rethink how they distribute content. Otherwise, the platform might lose its soul completely.
Anyone else noticing this shift?
